The information meeting regarding the Uzunköprü Atatürk Organized
Industrial Zone process, which is an important step that will contribute to the
economic development of Uzunköprü, was hosted by Uzunköprü Chamber of Commerce
and Industry. Uzunköprü District Governor Muammer KÖKEN, Uzunköprü Chamber of
Commerce President İsmail AKALIN, Uzunköprü Mayor Ediz MARTİN, Uzunköprü
Commodity Exchange President Egemen ASLAN and local press attended the meeting.
The main agenda item of the meeting was the latest stages reached
in Uzunköprü Atatürk Organized Industrial Zone, the work done and future plans.
At the information meeting held in the UTSO meeting hall, detailed
presentations were made to the participants about the OIZ process.
Comprehensive information was shared, especially about infrastructure works,
investor interest and planning of industrial areas.
The most striking development of the meeting was the receipt of
parcel title deeds belonging to the OIZ from the Edirne Land Registry Regional
Directorate. We have received the title deeds of our new organized industrial
zone from the Land Registry and Cadastre Regional Manager Hayrullah Akdemir.
With this development, another important threshold has been crossed in the
official process of Uzunköprü Organized Industrial Zone. Obtaining the title
deeds is considered as a big step in terms of making the industrial area
official and paving the way for investors.
At the end of the meeting, the participants exchanged views on the
work to be done in the OIZ field and the planned infrastructure projects. The
OIZ delegation announced that they will continue to hold informational meetings
periodically to ensure that the process progresses in a transparent and
participatory manner.
With the title deeds received, one of the most important legal
steps in the establishment of the OIZ was completed. In the following stages,
infrastructure tenders, investor applications and parcel allocation processes
are expected to accelerate.
The OIZ project, which will shape the economic future of
Uzunköprü, continues to be shaped with the cooperation of local governments,
industry and trade organizations.
